Mastering the Roomzo Search: Find Homes in Specific Areas
Finding a home near your college or office saves you hours of traffic every week. Roomzo’s search engine is designed to be hyper-local. Here is how to use it like a pro.
Step 1: The Smart Search Bar
Go to the homepage. In the main search bar, type your specific neighborhood, city, or a prominent landmark (e.g., "Civil Lines, Prayagraj" or "BHU Campus"). Select the correct match from the auto-dropdown.
Step 2: Apply Smart Filters
Once the results load, look at the filter menu. Select your preferred Property Type (Flat, PG, or Room). Use the slider to set your strict Max Budget so you only see places you can afford.
Step 3: Sort by Priority
Use the 'Sort By' dropdown menu at the top right of the results. Select 'Nearest First' to prioritize proximity, or 'Latest First' to see brand-new listings before anyone else snatches them.
Step 4: Use the Map View
If you want to see exactly how close a property is to a metro station or your office, click the Map View toggle. You can visually browse properties plotted directly on the map!
